- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Downey is the best vet I have ever been to. We have been going to Dr. Downey for years and she's the only vet I will trust my dogs with. She is extremely knowledgable, compassionate and has the best methods of treatment in a holistic - non-harmful way to each animal. She treats each dog very uniquingly and takes the time to properly access and prescribe the best treatment. If there is a wait to get in to see her - that is because she is the best - so I would highly recommend the wait to get an appointment with her. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪LOVE Dr. Downey and her staff!! We've been bringing our 2 dogs to her for years and recently our older dog Duke tore his ccl - Dr. Downey has been amazing with his progress and recovery. Her methods are always the most gentle for the dog yet highly effective. She is truly in tune with the spirit of each animal and has a very natural gift with treating and healing dogs. She has been using BICOM therapy coupled with acupuncture and chinese herbs. We had a custom brace molded to Duke's leg - we went this route rather than surgery based on a number of factors (age being one). Duke is healing and getting stronger every day! He was running around last week and wanted to play frisbee - back to his active, happy self! I am so thankful that we have someone like Dr. Downey that we can trust our babies with!
